This policy explains what personal information Jose Café Nigeria Limited (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

We do not store personal information on this website. If you send a catering enquiry, the form on the Catering page opens WhatsApp with a message containing what you typed:

  • your name and phone number (required)
  • your email address (optional)
  • details about your event, such as the type, date, number of guests and venue (optional)
  • the message you write to us

Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. Browsing the menu does not require you to give us any personal information.

How we use it

We use your enquiry only to reply to you, discuss and quote for your event, and manage the catering service you asked about. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

WhatsApp and phone calls

The “Order on WhatsApp”, “WhatsApp” and “Call” buttons open the WhatsApp app or your phone dialler with a message or number already prepared. Nothing is sent until you press send or call. WhatsApp is run by Meta Platforms, and messages you send to us on it are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. Phone numbers you contact us from are used only to reply to you.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run analytics tools. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as visit times and technical details, to keep the website running and secure.

Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone else, except our web hosting provider, which processes technical data to run the website, or where the law requires us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. To do so, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
